Sand Gardenâ„¢ is a virtual Japanese Zen garden.
A Zen garden is a place to relax, meditate, or simply let your imagination go free.
Here`s how a Zen garden works:
• Start with a blank canvas - just smooth and untouched sand.
• Choose a rock and place it on the sand.
• Pick a rake.
• With your rake, draw patterns and circles around the rock. Take your time and make them perfect.
• Now, let your imagination take over. Maybe pick another rock, or create an intricate design in the sand. Let your creativity flow.
• Reflect on your garden. Notice your newfound focus and calm.
The power of the iPad lets you take your own Japanese Zen garden anywhere you go. Make it your place of retreat whenever you are bored, stressed, or simply need a minute to get away from things.

Looks better in screenshots than real life
I had high hopes for this app. Small, awkward menus as others have noted. Rocks don`t interact with sand they float in their own layers. Poor responsiveness when raking (second or two delay as it catches up)
Pretty graphics but very poor user interface. Microscopic menus and little or no tool customization. There are plenty of better free apps for the iPhone. Pity none has caught up to the iPad.
Sand feels more like play dough than sand. Rakes are all fat and clumsy. No wide rake to do wide areas. No fine rakes for small detail.
Menus won`t stay out for you to try different settings.
Here is hoping that these will be fixed and I can get my money`s worth. As it if, it will just sit there unused.
NEW. I just noticed that your garden is not saved so you have a blank box every time. I want my money back.
It`s not worth paying for a waste of money
