This app doesn`t do anything it says it does. I can read the one constellation that pops up when I first turn on the app, but it doesn`t move at all as I`m moving the phone around. I can pop up all and take all the clusters, stars, planets, and ect., but again, what god is that going to do if the screen doesn`t move. I`m going to try an other app!
Lovely app, very easy to use
While you won`t get a whole lot of bells and whistles with this app, what you get is spectacular enough! The app uses your GPS location, combined with other information about the iPad`s position and orientation, to let you see exactly which constellations and stellar bodies are in a particular part of the sky. I downloaded the app after noticing two very bright stars rising in the east in the early morning hours, and wondering whether they were planets or satellites. The moment I pointed my iPad in their direction, the app identified them as Venus and Jupiter. It accurately moved with me no matter which direction I pointed it, and even gave me a little reminder about the Perseid meteor shower as I passed the constellation Perseus. For a little bit of fun, point your IPad at the floor and get a look at what someone on the other side of the world has over THEIR head! Fun, accurate, and very attractive to look at, this is an app I`m very glad I downloaded.
